̽̽ celebrate Safer Internet Day with interactive activities

This year, will focus on change online, including:

  • Young peoples’ perspective on new and emerging technology
  • Using the internet to make change for the better
  • The changes young people want to see online
  • The things that can influence and change the way young people think, feel and act online and offline

At ̽̽, we want to ensure you feel safe and confident online. As part of Safer Internet Day, Digital Education will host a range of activities in the Learning Environments at college.

These include:

  • Discussion tables with themes
  • Crypto Hack – a fun and informative session
  • AI Artwork competition winners announced
  • Plus, other Safer Internet Day-themed activities

Keeping safe online

Cyberbullying

If you are experience cyberbullying, you can:

  • Report online abuse on the online platform, using their Report features.
  • Customise your feed to limit people, pages or groups popping up on youraccounts.
  • Review your privacy settings to make sure your content is only visible to those youcan trust.
  • Block or delete people or pages being abusive.
  • Screenshot or keep record of the abusive behaviour as this may be useful if youneed to report it later.
  • Report harmful content online via
  • Report illegal content to Police via 101 or online.
  • Seek support from any member of staff at college. You can report incidents of bullying to our Behaviour and Welfare Officers whoare locatedinour Advice and Admissions Centres.
